can draw on more than 15 years of experience in global investment banking working for Lehman Brothers, Goldman Sachs and Nomura in the United States, London and Frankfurt. During this time, Mr. Tschauder has been involved in corporate finance transactions such as mergers & acquisitions, debt financings and initial public offerings as well as capital markets related activities including institutional research and asset management fund distribution. Graduating with a degree in business administration from the European Business School near Wiesbaden, Jens Tschauder joined Lehman Brothers’ corporate finance practice in London in 1994. Major transactions included the privatization of OMV, the acquisition of Fisons by Rhone-Poulenc Rorer (largest contested transaction in Europe at the time), the sale of Siemens Lighting, and the Porsche SUV bond financing. In 1999, Mr. Tschauder joined the institutional equity sales organization of Goldman Sachs in Frankfurt, where he played a leading role during the following six years in the placement of equity and equity related products to leading German fund management institutions including Deutsche Asset Management, Allianz Global Investors and Union Investment. During this time, Jens Tschauder participated in more than 100 primary and secondary capital markets transactions including placements for Infineon, Puma, Gagfah, and EADS. He was furthermore responsible for the distribution of the institutional research product of Goldman Sachs to leading individuals in the German fund management business. Following an assignment with Goldman Sachs Asset Management to lead third party distribution of active, quantitative and alternative fund products, Mr. Tschauder rejoined Lehman Brothers in 2007 to lead the equity sales business in Germany and Austria. Jens Tschauder is joining Acxit Capital Management as Managing Director with a special focus on capital market related activities. |
