Managing Director, 45 is a senior investment banker and advisor who has worked for Deutsche Bank, KPMG Peat Marwick, Lehman Brothers and as member of the executive board for the Corporate Finance unit of SBC Warburg Dillon Read (now UBS Warburg). His deal experience includes landmark transactions such as the IPO of E. Merck KGaA, the sale of the Brass group, the sale of Thyssen Haniel Logistics in 1998 as well as several successful Financing- and Built and Operate projects. Mr. Lucas currently holds several supervisory board and advisory board positions in the telecom and media industry. He has extensive experience in corporate restructurings and in the equity business. He is one of the initiators and early supporters of EASDAQ/NASDAQ-Europe and the Neuer Markt. Mr. Lucas was also a board member of the European Association of Securities Dealers (EASD), the membership organization of EASDAQ/NASDAQ-Europe, for five years as well as a member of the workgroup Finanzplatz e.V. in Frankfurt. In 1999 Mr. Lucas founded Acxit Capital Management (Acxit), an investment management and corporate finance boutique based in Frankfurt, Germany, that specializes in Principal Investments, Financial Advisory Services and Structured Products. Acxit's clients include renowned international Private Equity- and Hedge Funds, corporations and selected Family-Offices. Mr. Lucas holds a master degree (Diplom-Kaufmann) in business administration from WHU Koblenz (Otto Beisheim Graduate School of Management). |
