Michael worked on several successful M&A transactions such as the acquisition of Casa Reha, a leading German nursing home group by Advent International and the acquisition of the large nursing home operator Sozialkonzept by Casa Reha / Advent International.
Michael started his professional career in 1997 with Coopers & Lybrand Consulting in Frankfurt, mainly focusing on process re-engineering and risk management advisory. In 1999 Michael joined the strategy consulting arm of PricewaterhouseCoopers Consulting in London advising clients on corporate strategy and commercial due diligence issues.
In January 2003 Michael entered the Transaction Advisory Services of Ernst&Young Corporate Finance in Frankfurt, Germany where he worked on several cross-boarder transactions conducting buy-side and vendor due diligences across various business sectors.
Michael studied business administration at the Universities of Nuremberg and Tubingen and holds a master degree (Diplom-Kaufmann) in Finance and Taxes & Accounting. During his studies Michael worked as free-lance consultant for a management consulting firm at Daimler-Benz.
