is an experienced investment banker who worked for highly reputable firms like Goldman Sachs, Rothschild, Deutsche Bank and most recently JPMorgan. His deal experience comprises highly visible M&A transactions like the acquisitions of Honsel, Stinnes, Pentaplast, the sale of Thyssen Schulte Bautechnik, Koramic Roof Tiles as well as the execution of various equity capital market assignments like the IPO of Fraport (Frankfurt Flughafen AG) Mr. Klack holds a master degree (Diplom-Kaufmann) in business administration from the Johann-Wolfgang-Goethe Universität in Frankfurt. Thomas Klack started his career at Deutsche Bank in 1990 before he joined Goldman Sachs in their mergers and acquisition group where he focussed on European and in particular German automotive supply and mechanical engineering transactions. After a year on a special Romanian privatisation assignment in Bucharest, Mr. Klack joined Rothschild where he was instrumental in building the platform for the German Advisory business. At Rothschild, Mr. Klack successfully completed the restructuring of Verseidag, the sale of Thyssen Schulte Bautechnik, the acquisition of DSL Bank, the acquisition of Honsel (the first German Public to Private Transaction), the IPO of Fraport and various other transactions. Subsequently, in 2000 he joined JP Morgan as Vice President in their German Advisory Group focussing on the general engineering industries and financial sponsor transaction. Executed key transactions include the acquisitions of Stinnes AG and Pentaplast. Thomas Klack joined Acxit Capital Management in 2004 as Managing Director with special responsibility for the corporate finance advisory practice. |
