Munich, 4 November 2021: Attorney at law Oliver Schartl sells HELSKE People Care GmbH to Pflegebienen GmbH, a company of aiutanda Group.
HELSKE People Care GmbH is a modern provider of care and nursing services with an extensive range of services from a single source. Since its foundation in 2018, the company has grown strongly and currently operates eight outpatient care services in Bavaria, Lower Saxony, and Saxony-Anhalt with approximately 160 employees.
As a result of a short-term cancelled financing commitment of the Irish-based parent company HELSKE Group, the management filed for insolvency on September 10, 2021. Attorney at law Oliver Schartl (law firm Müller-Heydenreich Bierbach & Kollegen) was appointed as (preliminary) insolvency administrator and, together with the current management team, was able to stabilize business operations and thus ensure uninterrupted services to HELSKE’s clients. Within a very short period, a broad, international investor process was set up, which was successfully concluded with the opening of proceedings on November 1 after approximately five weeks.
From the final group of bidders, aiutanda Group convinced with its promising continuation concept and a corporate philosophy that ideally complements HELSKE. Pflegebienen GmbH, a subsidiary of aiutanda, will take over the eight locations, the headquarters in Munich and all employees in the course of an asset deal.
aiutanda is an initiative of private business owners and specializes in outpatient care services, outpatient care living arrangements and the development of modern inpatient living arrangements. 20 operating companies currently provide care for more than 4,000 people who require nursing care and assistance and generate annual sales of around EUR 80 million with around 1,500 dedicated employees.
