HMKW University of Applied Sciences becomes part of the European University Network AD Education
Frankfurt, 08 September 2020. HMKW University of Applied Sciences for Media, Communication and Management (HMKW) joins the university network of the French group AD Education (ADE). HMKW is active at three locations across Germany with almost 2,000 students. ADE is an association of French, Italian and Spanish universities with a total of more than 15,000 students. With the acquisition of HMKW, AD Education enters the German higher education market.
Prior to the transaction, ADE consisted of 11 universities with 33 locations across France, Italy and Spain. ADE primarily offers study programs within the fields of design, communication, art and culture. With its three locations in Germany, HMKW will contribute its extensive, high-quality teaching capabilities and is looking forward to the interchange with ADE.
With this transaction, AD Education further improves its market position in Europe and sets the base for further growth in the German market.
