Runtime Group acquires A-Plus Personaldienstleistung GmbH in an asset deal

Munich, 05 March 2015. Attorney-at-law Axel W. Bierbach of law firm Müller-Heydenreich Bierbach & Kollegen sold A-Plus Personaldienstleistung GmbH, Munich within 14 days after filing for insolvency to Runtime Group in an asset deal (so called “übertragende Sanierung”).

A-Plus Personaldienstleistung GmbH is a leading personnel service provider in the field of medical care and commercial personnel leasing. A-Plus was founded 1997 in Munich and employs 191 external and 14 internal employees at the three locations in Munich, Dusseldorf and Bochum.

The experienced restructuring expert attorney-at-law Axel W. Bierbach has been appointed as preliminary insolvency administrator by the local court Munich, Germany on 16th of February. Due to the special legal regulation in field of personnel leasing (for example the borrowers’ company statutory limitation for social insurance compensations), only a very short time period remained for finding an investor and continuing operations. Through an immediate initiated M&A process, suitable strategic investors could be found for A-Plus. About 200 external and internal employees were transferred with effect from 1st of March 2015 to subsidiaries of Runtime Group GmbH. The international Runtime Group employs over 4.500 people and operates in more than 85 locations in Europe.
